  1. Hi Victoria!

I really enjoyed reading your blog. And I am also proud, Ilja was on one of your pictures. Looks, as you had a pleasent journey home. We also made it home very easily. I am most happy, you are reporting with big sympathy about Poland. Not much people, living in Berlin, do so. Personally I owe much to Polish people and I am always sad, if people are not interested in this country.
All the best for you, I am happy to meet you, maybe we meet again in Poland or somewhere else.

Best wishes, Frank and family, your breakfast-mates

    • Hey Frank, thank you so much. I’m so glad that you like my blog and pictures. 🙂 I’ve had a lot of positive feedback about what I wrote on Poland so I’m very pleased!
It was lovely meeting you and your family and now we’re all back to school. ‘Hope you guys had a nice visit too LOL! I enjoy being in Poland as it’s one of my favourite countries especially as we live in Berlin!

Thanks once again, and stay in touch as we’re practically neighbours!

    • Fantastic! I hope you had a great time. I want to hear all about it! Yep! I can meet you on Friday. I’ll just send you an Email now. 🙂

  2. “There is also the awful fact that Poland has the worst and most horrifying Jewish concentration camp in the history of Nazi Germany – Auschwitz. In fact, my friends advice me to go to Italy instead!”

I think you should highline that the awful fact is the concentration camp was German. Poland has nothing to do with that, it is just on Polish theritory. It is not awful fact about Poland. I know you don’t have wrong intentions, but it can be misundrstood by the people who read that.

    • I think as far as the concentration camp is concerned in Poland or anywhere else. Everyone knows that Poland was not in the least to blame.
Poland is a lovely country. And it shows. Thanks for making comment Marcin.

  3. Can I consider myself a proud polish person? if I’m only a fourth Polish? I am such a mix of 1 million things but I am a quarter Polish and I am so curious about my ancestry and want some culture to hang onto you and be proud of.

  4. Hey Victoria! I sent you an email (victoria@thebritishberliner.com) but it was returned to sender. Is there a better way to contact you?
