A lifestyle expat travel blog about culture, history, Brexit, the Royal Family, travels around the world, Europe, and being British in Berlin!
Hey everyone.
It’s October!
How are you doing?
Nope. Don’t answer that!
Nevertheless, I hope you’re all well?
I’m so sorry.
It’s been a while since I wrote you on this here blog, but I’ve been involved in so many self-improvement projects that it’s been a bit of a blur, and before I knew it, it was October!
October?
But where did the time go?
Noooooooooooo!
I’ve been working at home, using my spare time in our organic garden, and travelling around Germany, as well as the surrounding states of Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern or Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, and Schleswig-Holstein!
I’ve also taken up two new ventures, so if I get the time, I’ll tell you all about it in November.
Fingers crossed!
Meanwhile, as far as The British Berliner is concerned, I’m always in the various British-German forums on Facebook and literally all over Twitter – my favourite social media platform — so if you haven’t been to Twitter for a while, do so now.

Right.
I’m going to keep it short, so here for your delight are photographic snippets of Berlin in Autumn, or if you’re American, Fall!
Do let me know what you think.
It was glorious to be back in the cinema on premier night, cocooned in huge leather seats, popcorn and crisps, ordered at our seat.
Champagne in hand.
In front of the big screen.
We thought the new James Bond film: No Time To Die, and the last outing of Daniel Craig as 007, was brilliant and a great start to Autumn!
Or Fall!
Hurrah!

Feels coy over there! I like your pictures, looks like fall in Canada… well, typical fall, because this year it was hot until last week so fewer fall colours (but I ain’t complaining about unexpected hot weather!).
Thanks so much Zhu!
Haw! Haw! I suppose Fall, in Canada is not all that different to Autumn in Germany. Except perhaps winter.
We haven’t had a proper winter in years!
We usually have a “warm” Autumn, but here in Berlin, there are sudden drops in temperature which lead to the notion that perhaps, Winter Is Coming after all! 😀
